Politician’s priceless reaction after dildo thrust in face during TV interview

A politician was left horrified after a prankster interrupted his live TV interview – and thrust a pink dildo in his face.

Maksim Nevenchannyi was attending a memorial service for WWII veterans in Mykolaiv, south-western Ukraine, when the incident happened.

Nevenchannyi was being interviewed by a camera crew when a bystander broke through the crowd and shoved the sex toy in his face.

The gobsmacked politician swatted the object from the man’s hand, saying: “What is it? Oh, sorry, what was that? I don’t know, he pushed something in my face."

The politician did not see the funny side and later claimed that political opponents were attempting to undermine him.

He said: "It is strange that some unknown journalists that usually would not talk to me are all of a sudden are interested in my person and then at that very moment a weirdo comes along shoving that object in my face. I didn’t realise what it was at the beginning.

Social media users have some out in support of Nevenchannyi and praised his relatively cool-headed response to the provocative stunt.

Yakov Kondratenko commented: "I should say this man behaved very well in this weird situation.

“He apologised. I do not know him, and do not know how he acts in the regional council – he has my respect."

While ‘Krokodil Gena’ commented: "I wish he punched someone in the jaw instead of apologising."
