Another royal wedding could be on the cards within months, it is claimed – as Princess Beatrice has fallen for a multi-millionaire property developer.
Pals say the 30-year-old and businessman Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi could tie the knot next year – and revealed she has already introduced him to her parents.
Divorcee Edoardo, 34, is said to have met Beatrice through a mutual friend – and a source claimed they have already been on holiday together after two months together.
A source told The Sun that Beatrice has been introducing him as her boyfriend.
The insider told the newspaper: "They hit it off instantly and have a real laugh together.
"They’ve been on holiday together and Beatrice introduced him to Fergie and her dad.
"Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time."
The source claim friends are "thrilled" for the princess, whose younger sister Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank on October 12 in Windsor.
Friends of Beatrice and her new love – who mix in the same circles – are claimed to already be discussing a 2019 marriage.
Edoardo, who has a two-year-old son named Wolfie from a previous relationship, runs property consultancy Banda, which he set up in 2007.
It specialises in finding and developing lavish homes for wealthy clients.
Beatrice – who is eighth in line to the throne – has been single since 2016, when she split with long-term partner Dave Clark, who she had been with for a decade.
The Uber executive has since married Lynn Anderson in July this year.
Beatrice was pictured dressed as a mythical creature for a Halloween party in Mayfair, London, recently, where she partied alongside Prince Harry’s ex Chelsy Davy.
Before this event, Beatrice was last pictured in Windsor at her sister’s wedding on October 12.
Here her outfit choice was of particular interest as she noticeably didn’t wear a bridesmaid dress, but instead chose a mid-length deep blue Ralph and Russo outfit.
Some think this decision may have been made so she could stand out in her role as Eugenie’s maid of honour.
Beatrice recently opened up about what life is like as a working royal in a joint interview with Eugenie for British Vogue ‘s iconic September issue.
She said: "It’s hard to navigate situations like these because there is no precedent, there is no protocol.
"We are the first: we are young women trying to build careers and have personal lives, and we’re also princesses and doing all of this in the public eye."
