Raheem Sterling splashes £1million on entire row of houses for WAG’s business

Man City star Raheem Sterling has splashed out £1m on a whole row of houses for his fiancee Paige Milian.

The England star has invested some of his £300k a week salary to buy six new two-bedroom houses in a rundown part of Reddish in Stockport, Greater Manchester — after his fiancée Paige, 22 became a property developer.

The couple have set up a company called Milian Property Group Ltd, of which they are both listed as directors.

Neighbours were left stunned by the footie ace's decision to buy the homes and claim the area has a problem with anti-social behaviour and a terraced house opposite the homes is a former drugs den.

Speaking to MailOnline, one resident said: "When the builders told me who had bought them I was gobsmacked.

"It's hardly a place you'd expect a millionaire footballer to invest in. I mean it is a bit rundown.

"They are advertised for £750 a month when most places around here go for less than that, more like £600."

Another resident Marion Wray, 73, said: "I like the area. The only problems I've had are young teenage yobs playing football."

Sterling and his fiancee could rake in £4,500 per month from the homes, if they are all rented out.

Paige, who has a young son with the star, announced the couple had bought the complex on Instagram.

She wrote: "After months of studying property development, I achieved my qualification to become a property developer in 2018.

"We then started a search of properties to add to our portfolio and was then successful in purchasing six brand new houses.

"We plan to add more projects to our portfolio in the future."

The modern estate is built on the site of a former sign factory and is described by housing firms as "an exciting new development" of "luxury mews style homes" with open plan kitchens, double glazing and gated private access.

Sterling isn't the only footballer to branch out into the property market.

Liverpool's legendary former striker Robbie Fowler at one point had more than 80 houses in his property portfolio across the UK.
