Sen. Chuck Schumer fired back at President Trump for referring to him as “Cryin’ Chuck” on Twitter and used the First Lady’s “Be Best” anti-cyberbullying initiative to make his point.
”Senator Cryin’ Chuck Schumer fought hard against the Bad Iran Deal, even going at it with President Obama, & then Voted AGAINST it!,” Trump posted Thursday. “Now he says I should not have terminated the deal – but he doesn’t really believe that!”
”#BeBest,” the New York Democrat responded on Twitter about 15 minutes later.
First Lady Melania Trump launched the “Be Best” awareness program that encourages young people to treat others appropriately online in a Rose Garden speech on Monday.
Trump is famous for using nicknames to ridicule opponents.
He’s called Sen. Marco Rubio “Little Marco,” Sen. Ted Cruz “Lyin’ Ted,” and “Sloppy Steve” Bannon.
Trump on Wednesday said he was pulling the United States out of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.
