Teen faces charges after pal hallucinates from vape pen at school: cops

A Florida teen faces felony charges after a classmate landed in the hospital from using his vape pen containing synthetic weed, according to authorities.

Adrian Garcia, 17, was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly let a pal at Golden Gate High School in Naples take a puff on his vaporizer during lunch, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said.

The female classmate started having trouble breathing and experienced hallucinations, news station WBBH reported.

Emergency crews were called to the school and brought her to a local hospital, WBBH reported. The girl’s condition was not released.

Garcia was booked at Naples jail on charges for possession of a controlled substance.

He was previously arrested at school last year after a knife was discovered in his backpack, according to WBBH.
