A single lothario’s dream of finding love on Tinder has gone up in smoke after his tongue-in-cheek joke was shot down.
Niall Taylor created a profile on the dating app – famous for being used by people for casual sex – a month ago after being egged on by his mates.
The 19-year-old, who suffers from congenital muscular dystrophy and is wheelchair-bound, even made light of his disability in his profile.
Accompanying a picture of himself, he wrote: “I ride a wheelchair all day but I will ride you all night.”
Unfortunately Tinder didn’t see the funny side and removed the Sunderland fan’s joke off the site on Thursday.
He still has an account and isn’t banned from the dating site. In a message to the teenager, they said: “We removed your bio because it contained this policy violation: sexual content.”
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, Niall, from Sunderland, said: “A couple of my mates said I should make a profile for a laugh.
“When I saw the message I just found it funny really and thought I’d put it on Twitter and see what the reaction was.
“It’s been really positive and everyone is having a laugh.

“I’m not that bothered about their message but it seems a bit of an overreaction.”
Niall’s tweet has since gone viral – attracting thousands of likes and dozens of positive comments. One person wrote: “Their loss mate.” Another said: “Class that fella.”
A third joked: “Hahaha what a guy.” Since having the content removed, Niall has decided to stay away from online dating and plans on finding a partner through more traditional routes.
