Three alerts were issued in the East of England, with Hundred Foot Washes in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk, Sutton Gault Causeway in Cambridgeshire and Welney Causeway in Norfolk all identified as areas affected.

River Thame and Chalgrook Brook in Oxfordshire also face possible flooding.

Two additional alerts have been issued for River Lugg south of Leominster, South Devon coast from Start Point to Dawlish Warren.

England’s Environment Agency will upload further updates between 8am and 9am.

“Clear spells following, but rain, some heavy for Northern Ireland later.”

Rainfall is also expected at the tail-end of the week.
