A HIGHLY respected journalist has been selected to moderate the US Vice Presidential debate tonight (Wednesday October 7, 2020).
Susan Page, the head of USA Today's Washington bureau, will preside over the 90-minute showdown between Democrat Kamala Harris and current VP Mike Pence in Salt Lake City.

Who is Vice Presidential debate moderator Susan Page?
Susan Page, 69. is an American journalist and biographer, and the current cheif of USA Today’s Washington office.
She was born on February 12, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas.
In 1973 she graduated from theNorthwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, where she was editor-in-chief of the Daily Northwestern.
Page also holds a master's degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism where she was a Pulitzer Fellow.
Page will moderate the Vice Presidential Election debate between nominees Kamala Harris and Mike Pence.
The debate will take place from 9pm MDT, and will be streamed online on all major networks.

In Page’s 47-year career she has covered ten presidential elections, six administrations and interviewed nine American presidents.
During her career she has also won several awards including twice being awarded the Gerald R. Ford Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency.
She is also an established author, with her first book The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of an American Dynasty was published in 2019.
