A two-year-old stud horse was caught in a compromising position as he attempted to find his feet in the world of mating.

The mobile phone footage was recorded at a pasture in Calvert City, Kentucky.

The owner of the young colt said: ‘He accidentally got out in the mare’s pasture and attempted to do what any other stallion would have done, but failed completely.’

In the clip, recorded on March 14, the brown stud, called Zip My Goose, can be seen already caught in an awkward predicament. 

His front legs are hooked over the side of a white mare after he attempted to mount her before nuzzling her neck.

The mare tries to walk away but Zip My Goose is unfazed.

A group of women can be heard giggling from behind the camera before one whispers: ‘Do you think he is stuck?’ 

The owner of the young colt said: ‘He accidentally got out in the mare’s pasture and attempted to do what any other stallion would have done, but failed completely’

The stud’s owner has since explained: ‘Zip My Goose is a coming two-year-old AQHA stud colt. 

‘He is normally kept in a pasture or a stall away from the mares that we also have here. 

‘He accidentally got out in the mare’s pasture and attempted to do what any other stallion would have done, but failed completely.’
