Survivor and Big Brother maker Banijay France has set its leadership team, with Sébastien Petiot and Delphine Plantive joining as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Editorial Strategy and New Business respectively.

The pair start today and report to recently appointed President and CEO Alexia Laroche-Joubert.

As COO, Petiot will be responsible for defining Banijay France’s strategy and supporting 15 labels within the French portfolio, which produces more than 2,500 hours of shows per year. He most recently spent six years with ITV Studios France, where he also worked his way up to COO.

Plantive’s new position will see her attempt to ensure editorial co-ordination of all Banijay France’s companies, which will include initiating partnerships and bringing onboard new talent and business opportunities for labels within the company.

“Sébastien and Delphine bring extensive industry experience and knowledge to their new positions, and these skills will be invaluable as we strive to meet our common objectives,” said Laroche-Joubert.

Laroche-Joubert replaced François de Brugada over the summer, having led her own Banijay-backed indie Adventure Line Productions (ALP). Yesterday, Banijay unveiled news of Laroche-Joubert’s replacements at ALP, with Frédéric Lussato promoted to President and Julien Magne becoming Managing Director.

Must Read Stories
