Ruth Langsford continues to suffer from chest infection<\/h3>\n

Ruth Langsford has taken to social media to share a health update with her fans.<\/p>\n

The Loose Women star has been absent from the hit ITV show after being diagnosed with a chest infection earlier this week.<\/p>\n

In a video filmed by her husband, Eamonn Holmes, Ruth, 63, could be seen breathing into a steaming device, which doctors advised her to do twice a day following her diagnosis.<\/p>\n

In the clip, Eamonn, 63, can be heard asking: \u201cWhat are you doing?\u201d Before Ruth replied, \u201cSteaming.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eamonn then jokingly asked: \u201cDoes it get rid of blackheads? Take deep breaths,\u201d before Ruth hit back, saying: \u201cDon\u2019t make me laugh, it will make me cough.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ruth then appears to get annoyed with her husband as he continues to film her treatment, snapping at him: \u201cIt’s enough, I don’t want this Eamonn\u201d before holding her hand up to the camera.<\/p>\n

Despite telling Eamonn off for capturing the candid moment, she uploaded it to her Instagram page where she shared the details of the device with her one million followers.<\/p>\n

Captioning the video, she wrote: \u201cSo day 3 of antibiotics and the doctor told me to steam twice a day\u2026.I try to do this in peace but @eamonnholmes decided to watch and offer helpful advice this morning! The steamer is from @beurer_official bought from @amazon if there are any other sufferers out there #chestinfectionsucks”<\/p>\n

A third jumped in to say: \u201cHope you feel better soon so nerve-racking and frustrating when you need your voice to work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whilst a fourth stated: \u201cGod Bless you Ruth. Hope this shifts soon. Thank you for sharing (even if you didn\u2019t want to be video\u2019d) you \u2018do\u2019 poorly with glam and grace. Prayers for healing swiftly and completely.\u201d<\/p>\n

Celebrity pals also joined in to wish the TV presenter well with Homes Under The Hammer star Lucy Alexander saying: \u201cHope you feel better soon\u201d followed by a red love heart emojii.<\/p>\n

Fellow Loose Women panellist Saira Khan wrote: \u201cAhh Ruthie – sending you all my love.\u201d<\/p>\n

And Lisa Snowden commented: \u201cFeel better honey.\u201d<\/p>\n
