Two teenagers were killed and three people were seriously injured in a crash involving off-road motorbikes near Melton on Sunday night.<\/p>\n
The major collision investigation unit has appealed for witnesses, dashcam or CCTV footage as they try to work out how the accident occurred.<\/p>\n
Police have been told at least two off-road motorbikes and potentially a quad bike were travelling on Beattys Road, which runs through Grangefields, just after 6.35pm when the crash happened.<\/p>\n
Police said an 18-year-old Altona Meadows woman died at the scene. A critically injured 17-year-old Hoppers Crossing boy was taken to hospital, where he died overnight.<\/p>\n
A six-year-old boy and an 11-year-old boy, both from Hoppers Crossing, were taken to hospital with serious injuries and a 43-year-old Altona Meadows man also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
