In one clip two of the crooks remove a bay window while traffic passes yards away.<\/p>\n<p>In another security video, the gang break into a home where a woman was in at the time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/11\/19\/75305345-12505449-image-a-29_1694457235271.jpg\" height=\"426\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Members of the gang captured on CCTV during a burglary<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/11\/19\/75306025-12505449-image-a-35_1694458544044.jpg\" height=\"871\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>A man dressed in black and wearing a balaclava enters the window of the shop<\/p>\n<p>Footage shows the woman screaming in terror before the crooks flee empty handed.<\/p>\n<p>The gang were finally caught after detectives scoured hours of CCTV which captured them using two getaway cars, an Audi R3 and a VW Golf, on false plates.<\/p>\n<p>Jason MacDonaugh, 32, was identified as the buyer and seller of the Audi. Police were then\u00a0able to connect his associates to the crimes which also saw them strike near Bristol and Warwickshire.<\/p>\n<p>Phone records also linked the gang to the location of the burglaries.<\/p>\n<p>Police also identified fellow gang members Darren O&#8217;Halloran, 38, and Barney Casey, 22, to Yorkshire where they were arrested in early February.<\/p>\n<p>The fourth member of the gang, Daniel Harty, 32, was arrested in Wales later the same month.<\/p>\n<p>The four, originally from Ireland, were convicted of conspiracy to burgle following a trial.<\/p>\n<p>They were jailed for a total of almost 50 years at Birmingham Crown Court today.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/11\/19\/75306023-12505449-image-a-37_1694458614260.jpg\" height=\"797\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The masked gang used tools to pry open windows at the property<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/11\/19\/75306019-12505449-image-a-38_1694458690985.jpg\" height=\"478\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Once they open the door, the gang search the house for jewellery and cash\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/11\/19\/75306021-12505449-image-a-36_1694458585985.jpg\" height=\"434\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The gang members, who were jailed for a combined total of 48 years, can be seen leaving the scene in a car<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/11\/19\/75305347-12505449-image-a-30_1694457238289.jpg\" height=\"853\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Jason MacDonaugh (pictured) was jailed for 13-and-a-half years<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/11\/19\/75305391-12505449-image-a-34_1694458414898.jpg\" height=\"867\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Darren O&#8217;Halloran received a 12 year prison sentence for his crimes O&#8217;Halloran and Harty were both caged for 12 years each. Casey was jailed for ten-a-half-years.<\/p>\n<p>MacDonaugh was jailed for 13-and-a-half years while O&#8217;Halloran and Harty were both caged for 12 years each.
