I have missed certain parts of my kids\u2019 lives but I\u2019ve also been able to find myself and, as they grow, I realise everything I\u2019ve done has been for a reason.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The BBC star is mum to three children; sons, Musa and Dawud, and her daughter named Maryam.<\/p>\n<p>Post Bake Off, Nadiya began presenting in 2016 and surprised herself with how well she adapted to it, particularly due to her battle with anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>With her daughter witnessing her hard work, she hopes it&#8217;ll help &#8220;build her to be the strongest version of herself&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I love that she gets to see it\u2019s OK to be sad and vulnerable sometimes, too,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/79\/264x\/4966026.jpg?r=1695062789703\"><span>Read the full interview in Radio Times[RADIOTIMES]<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Great British Bake Off series 14 kicks off on September 26 on Channel 4 from 8pm.<\/p>\n<p>Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will be back on judging duties, while Noel Fielding and new host Alison Hammond will present.<\/p>\n<p>Noel said of his new co-star this month: &#8220;Alison is a breath of fresh air.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe brings an energy that\u2019s infectious. Paul has been on the show since the beginning. Me and Prue [Leith] have been here for seven years, unbelievably. When someone new comes in, it\u2019s like seeing Christmas all over again through your children\u2019s eyes. Alison\u2019s arrival has given us a reboot. Everyone raised their game.
