However, away from the limelight he is a dad of three sons, here's the rundown.<\/p>\n

Aside from being Sir Alex Ferguson's son, Jason is known for being a documentary maker.<\/p>\n
He was born on February 9, 1972 and is the twin brother of Darren Ferguson.<\/p>\n
He previously worked as a football agent but swapped this for film making.<\/p>\n
Despite tending to stay out of the spotlight himself, he has spoken in detail about how he felt when his dad had a brain haemorrhage in 2018.<\/p>\n
Jason has said he expected the worst and has since recalled when he had to call 999 for his dad.<\/p>\n He told the Press Association: "We went up to Macclesfield hospital first of all and that was when it was identified that he had had a brain haemorrhage.<\/p>\n \u201cI remember going out and speaking to the doctor. She\u2019d just come in and told us, 'Look, you\u2019ve had a bleed on the brain and we\u2019re going have to get you up to Salford Royal for an operation'.<\/p>\n "I remember stepping outside the room and saying to her, 'How bad is this?' and she looked at me almost as if I was like an idiot and just was like, 'It\u2019s bad, this is a pretty serious situation'."<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Mark is Ferguson's eldest son, born in 1968.<\/p>\n He has chosen to not dip a toe into fame and works as an investment banker.<\/p>\n It has been said that Mark looks after his dad's finances.<\/p>\n The short answer is, yes, Jason did direct a documentary.<\/p>\n He was in charge of his dad's documentary, Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In.<\/p>\n The film follows Sir Alex's impressive career as a football manager as well as how he recovered from his brain haemorrhage.<\/p>\n Jason interviewed his dad for the documentary and eventually ended up with 70 hours worth of audio from chatting to his dad.<\/p>\n Alex's love for football is clear throughout as he recalls facts about specific games including remembering all bar one of Manchester United\u2019s line-up the first time he saw them in 1953.<\/p>\n Jason has said he thinks he watched the film more than 100 times and helped him digest what happened in 2018.<\/p>\n Cathy Ferguson was Jason and Mark's mum.<\/p>\n It was announced that she passed away aged 84 on Thursday, 5 October, 2023.<\/p>\n A statement by the Ferguson family said: "We are deeply saddened to confirm the passing yesterday of Lady Cathy Ferguson, survived by her husband, three sons, two sisters, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
