Holly Willougby has announced that she is quitting ITV’s This Morning after 14 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Holly, 42, said that it was an “honour to just be part of its story\u201d before adding, \u201cI have to make this decision for me and my family\u201d.<\/p>\n
Whilst fans flocked to share their shock at the news, This Morning co-host Alison Hammond led the tributes.<\/p>\n
She commented on the statement: \u201cThis is a very sad day! Love you.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alison stepped in to present the show with Holly\u00a0more frequently after long-time host Phillip Schofield\u2019s sudden departure earlier this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Other members of the This Morning family also rushed to the comment section to share their goodbyes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Regular guest Vanessa Feltz wrote: \u201cWe will miss you so very much my darling.\u201d<\/p>\n
Make-up expert Bryony Blake also left a comment: \u201cSending you and your family so much love Holly xx\u201d<\/p>\n
Whilst presenter and cook Donal Skehan penned: \u201cAlways the most lovely host each and every time I was on with you- thank you for being so sweet over the years and onwards and upwards! Sending lots of love D xx\u201d<\/p>\n
Dermot O\u2019Leary\u2019s wife Dee Koppang also sent her well wishes, writing: \u201cSending so much love.\u201d Her husband is yet to comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Rochelle Humes who has presented the show over the years added: \u201cThis is a sad day \u2764\ufe0f We love you x\u201c<\/p>\n
Juliet Sear who appears on the cooking segment of the morning show also commented: \u201cSo sad to see you go Holly wishing you loads of positive things for your new chapter xxx it\u2019s been wonderful working with you for the last 8 years and making your birthday cakes to for the last 14lots of love to you and you family xxx\u201d<\/p>\n
Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, the tributes continued as Matthew Wright who often appears on the show to discuss news items wrote: \u201cGonna miss seeing Holly on @thismorning”<\/p>\n
