Now with Halloween out of the way, Christmas is right around the corner.

If you're planning to post your festive presents, it's important to know when your deliveries will arrive. Luckily Royal Mail announced its deadline for the period.

Brits who want to beat the rush are urged to send their post "early" especially as there might be delays or high demand around Christmas.

The stamps around the Christmas period will be inspired by classic carols and feature festive lyrics from "We Three Kings", "Silent Night", "O Little Town of Bethlehem", "Away in a Manger" and "O Holy Night".

Also the seasonal stamps are the first to feature the silhouette of King Charles so collectors should keep an eye out. They also feature a barcode, which when scanned will take you to a Christmas video starring Shaun the Sheep.

Now Royal Mail urged customers to get prepared ahead of the rush and to post second class stamps around December 18, while it's December 18 for first class and December 22 for special delivery.

It also recommended getting your online shopping done in a timely fashion too. Those planning to post abroad must do so by December 6.

Sending international tracked post requires more time to get it sorted. And it depends on the location although by the start of next month should be more than enough time.
