West Ham stars visited one of London’s glitziest restaurants to enjoy an early Christmas\u00a0party ahead of their trip to Serbia this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Players dressed up for the night as they were joined by WAGs and the club’s coaching staff as they visited the Sucre restaurant in Soho.<\/p>\n
They were even joined by\u00a0owner David Sullivan and vice-chairman <\/span>Karren Brady\u00a0who tagged along to enjoy the festivities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The squad arrived at the Argentinian restaurant between 5 and 6pm on Monday night, but it’s believed they didn’t stay out too late, and instead left the venue at around 10.30pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n That might be down to the fact that they are due to fly out to Serbia on Wednesday, as they face\u00a0Backa Topola in the Europe League the following day.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n West Ham players were joined by their partners at their Christmas party (Edson Alvarez and Tomas Soucek with respective WAGs Sofia Toache and Natalie Dobrovodska)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady was also in attendance for the party which took place at the Sucre restaurant in Soho on Monday evening<\/p>\n <\/p>\n West Ham owner David Sullivan also dropped in for the party at one of London’s glitziest restaurants<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Players arrived at the restaurant before 6pm and are believed to have left by 10.30pm (Emerson Palmieri pictured)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2023 has been a successful year for West Ham with David Moyes (pictured) leading his side to their first European trophy since 1965 by winning the Europa Conference League<\/p>\n Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n Monday was the best chance they will get at staging their Christmas party, as from Thursday, they will play every three or four days up until their December 23 clash with Manchester United.\u00a0<\/p>\n The players appeared to be in jovial spirits, with \u00a335m summer signing Edson Alvarez and his partner Sofia Toache stopping to get a picture from the photographers who were outside to capture the squad’s arrival.\u00a0<\/p>\n Danny Ings stopped to have a conversation with someone outside the venue, while midfielder\u00a0Tomas Soucek was pictured arriving with his wife Natalie Dobrovodska, and Aaron Cresswell arrived with his wife of four years Jessica Unsworth.<\/p>\n Angelo Ogbonna and Lukasz Fabianski were among those also spotted arriving with their partners for their night out.<\/p>\n The party looked to be mostly a formal affair with the likes of Lukasz Fabianski, Cresswell and Konstantinos Mavropanos arriving in smart attire.\u00a0<\/p>\n It appears as though there wasn’t a strict formal policy however, with West Ham captain Kurt Zouma and Johnson among those to dress more casually.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Sucre restaurant and cocktail bar on its website says it brings a ‘conversation of Latin America and European influences’ into the venue which was formerly a concert hall.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Hammers would certainly have had a lot to celebrate at the party, after what has been a successful year – despite finishing in the bottom half of the table last term.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski had a strong case for being one of the most sharpest-dressed at the party<\/p>\n Pablo Fornals (left picture standing on the right) also appeared in formal attire while West Ham captain Kurt Zouma dressed up more casually for the night out\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Aaron Cresswell arrives with his wife of four years Jessica Unsworth on Monday night<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Angelo Ogbonna visited the party alongside his Italian wife Laura Marchetti (centre)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Danny Ings was in jovial spirits as he is pictured speaking to someone upon his arrival<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ben Johnson (right with cap) arrives with his guest to the venue on Great Marlborough St<\/p>\n They won their first European trophy since 1965, by beating Fiorentina to clinch the\u00a0<\/span>Europa Conference League\u00a0back in June.<\/span><\/p>\n It marks a big change from Christmas parties of yester-year which didn’t even go ahead.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n They didn’t go ahead during the coronavirus pandemic, but Moyes also decided to\u00a0 cancel their Christmas party in 2017 as they battled relegation.<\/span><\/p>\n It has been a mixed start to the 2023-24 season, though they are not battling relegation like then and are comfortably in the top half with 20 points from 13 games.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Hammers are currently in a strong place to qualify from their Europa League group, which they sit top of, albeit, level on points with Freiburg.<\/p>\n A draw on Thursday night would ensure that they would qualify for the play-offs at minimum, though they would prefer to finish top of their group to ensure their automatic progression to the round of 16.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n It’s All Kicking Off\u00a0is an exciting new podcast from Mail Sport that promises a different take on Premier League football, launching with a preview show today and every week this season.<\/span><\/p>\n It is available on MailOnline, Mail+, YouTube , Apple Music and Spotify<\/span><\/p>\n Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n
