Ketchup Heinz is the first brand to come to mind, but the cost of living crisis is making it hard to snap up. Nowadays a 460g bottle could cost around \u00a32.50.<\/p>\n

Now shoppers believe they've found a cheaper and tastier alternative. German supermarket Lidl is selling Batts Tomato Ketchup for just 95p per 500g. <\/p>\n

And fans are even convinced you won't be able to tell the difference after making the swap. In the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, fans were singing its praises. <\/p>\n
A shopper said: "Thanks to the person who posted ages ago about Lidl's own tomato sauce as an alternative to Heinz. (Tastes exactly the same but for 95p a bottle)."<\/p>\n
Another even claimed: "Tastes better than Heinz." A third commented: "Been my all-time favourite for over 12 years." As a fourth added: "I love it."<\/p>\n
Making the swap to the Lidl alternative could help you save a whopping \u00a380 a year as the dupe costs less than five times than the original.<\/p>\n
