One shake of the hand or wrong move, and you end up with swoops that look uneven, wobbly or way too thick.
But one cosmetics whizz has come up with a nifty hack that ensures you always end up with the perfect cat eye flick – and you most likely already have everything you need in your make-up bag.
Fro, who posts on social media as @FroArtistry, is a world-renowned beauty guru who’s worked with the likes of L'Oréal.
After more than 10 years in the industry, she’s learned troves of tips and tricks to achieve a flawless finish.
And she recently delighted her 230k TikTok followers by demonstrating that applying waterproof eyeliner needn’t be any hassle.

In a clip, Fro began by asking viewers if they wanted a “lazy eyeliner” tip.
The make-up artist then applied a layer of eyeliner to the top lid of an eyelash curler using a thin make-up brush.
She then used the eyelash curler as normal, making sure to hold it in place for a couple of seconds to give the eyeliner time to transfer.
After removing it, she was left with absolutely gorgeous, perfectly even flicks.

Fro then added a little extra product around the inner eyes, to complete the stunning cat eye look.
The clip quickly racked up a staggering 430k views, with users delighted to find a foolproof way to ensure perfect swoops in way less time.
“I’m gonna try this,” one commented. “I struggle with the cat eye look, [but] I love it so much.”
“Perfect idea,” another wrote.
It’s not the only eyeliner hack that Fro has recently disclosed on social media.
The make-up maestro shared another clip about achieving the perfect inner-eye liner.
It’s as simple as pinching your nose so that your inner-eye lifts a little, and then using a waterproof pen liner to etch a straight line in the direction of your finger.
“Omg I needed this,” a user commented on the video.
