BRITS are nabbing over £40 worth of food from Morrisons for just £3.09 thanks to a little known hack.
The catch is that the groceries are chosen for you, meaning you don’t know what you’re getting until you leave the shop with your bags.
Known as Magic Bags, they are offered through an anti-food waste app named Too Good To Go.
With the cost of living crisis driving up food prices, the popularity of apps offering discount food are soaring in popularity.
Too Good To Go lists local shops and restaurants selling surplus food at a hefty discount.
You have to pick it up between a certain time slot and have no say over what’s in your order – it’s a complete surprise.

Where supermarkets such as Morrisons are concerned, the products in the bags are foods due to go out of date that they would otherwise need to bin.
However, it can often be frozen when you get home or have a few days left before you need to eat if it’s already long-life food.
Shoppers have taken to Facebook to hail Morrisons the holy grail of Too Good To Go bags.
Spending just £3.09 a pop, Angela Parkinson picked up six finger rolls, 24 bread rolls and four packs of Cadbury Mini Rolls – which have ten in a pack.

She also nabbed five packets of Digestive Caramel Slices, two packets of Galaxy Cake Bars, four cherry bakewells, four mini cupcakes, a packet of mini chocolate brownies and six raspberry jellies.
“I would have liked [fresh fruit and veg] to be honest but can’t complain,” Angela wrote.
“Even though it’s all bread and cake, it’s till a bargain and will still get eaten.”
Similarly, Linda Humphreys got an “amazing” surprise bag from the supermarket.
She nabbed 17 packets of Monster Munch crisps with a use-by date of December 2020, a small wholemeal loaf, a small white loaf and two small baguettes.
Linda also took home a packet of Belgian buns, a mixed roll bag of ten rolls, a sick pack of crusty rolls and a four pack of scones.
“Honestly, all my bags are fab from Morrisons,” she said.
According to regular users of Too Good To Go, the key is knowing when shops and eateries release their magic bags.
Some outlets, such as posh bakery and coffee shop Gails, are very popular and sell-out within seconds of going live.
