Tommy Mallet has explained the special meaning behind the shoes his son Brody wore on the day he married Georgia Kousoulou.
The former The Only Way is Essex star, 31, shared a sweet snap of a father son moment that was captured on his wedding day.
In the shot, the couple's son, two year old Brody can be seen inspecting his trainers as Tommy beams and looks lovingly at him.
The footwear is from Tommy's new brand, CTRNE, which markets itself as "the world's one and only crystal-infused sneakers."
Captioning the photo, he said: "Loyalty over royalty son, every time you see that crystal in your shoe, remember your old man wasn’t scared to start again!!"
It was a reference to his recent decision to step down as CEO of his successful shoe brand, Mallet.
Having built the company into a multi-million pound brand that boasts a deal with Reebok, Tommy wanted a new challenge.
Just a couple of days earlier, Tommy shared a picture of Brody trying the shoes on for the first time.
The two year old touched the sole of his shoes as he posed for the snap.
Tommy captioned the photo: "This picture makes me burst with pride! My little boy rocking he’s custom @ctrne_world telling everyone daddy puts stars in shoes! I’m gonna change the game with this!! Thank you for the love."
Tommy co-founded his shoe business Mallet London in 2015 with his early success being shown on the ITV show.
He left his business on 31 October after eight thriving years.
The co-founding director took to Instagram on Friday, November 24 to share the news of his departure and posted a lengthy caption alongside a snap which saw him sitting in front of his company sign.
Tommy wrote: "I never thought I’d be sitting here writing this, but with it now being public knowledge through news articles I have to address."
He continued: "On the 31st of October I stood down from my role at Mallet London, the company I love and always will do, for many reasons, the main one being I feel it’s important to grow in life and not stay still, I’ve done all I set out to accomplish with this brand, and I’m forever grateful for what I’ve learnt and who I’ve met along the way!
"I love you all involved (even the ones I’ve been in legal battles with) because without you I wouldn’t be who I am today and wouldn’t be prepared for what’s in front of me in my journey! I’ve learnt a lot this year and the main lesson for me is no matter what don’t be scared to start again if it’s something you believe in, I still own the company and I’ve left it in good hands!
"I want it to strive and I’m excited to see what’s next for it under another direction… I always wanted to leave on a high and for me it doesn’t get much better than Reebok!"
