In celebration of so many life-changing moments, Camelot have revealed the most common reactions from winners, from running around the house to sitting in silent disbelief.
Since launching 29 years ago, The National Lottery has changed thousands of lives and witnessed some hilarious responses.
The most common reaction, at 19 per cent, was Brits sitting in silence, shocked at their win.
Meanwhile, the same amount of lucky punters went in for a kiss with their partner to celebrate.
Other listeners took a humble approach, as 17 per cent went to stick the kettle on and welcome the windfall with a cuppa.

But, 13 per cent couldn't contain their excitement and jumped for joy, while the same percentage screamed, burst into tears and ran around the room.
Only 5 per cent broke into dance, and a tiny 3 per cent popped open a bottle of bubbly.
And, surprisingly just one per cent were quick to book a holiday.

"The winners are normally always in shock and struggle to comprehend how much they have won.
"Their reactions differ enormously – I have heard it all. On confirming the winning amount, we always check if they are in a position to speak or continue the call through their tears, laughs and screaming, and if they are sitting down before re-confirming the news, just in case.

Of the 7,000 millionaires made in the last 29 years, 375 of those were made last year which means more than one millionaire was made every day.
In 2023September saw a whopping 38 winners in just a single month.
Plus, over 38,000 jackpots of £50,000 or more have been scooped and paid out across all National Lottery games since 1994.
This comes as a lucky Brit who scooped a £1million National Lottery jackpot apologised for her embarrassing blunder during the phone call.
