LIVERPOOL have made an enquiry for Fluminense star Andre.
The Brazilian club's president Mario Bittencort revealed that the Reds attempted to sign him over the summer but the player was not for sale.
However, Andre could soon find himself in the Premier League with Fluminense ready to offload him in the January window.
Bittencourt said to Lance: "There is an agreement between us, the player and representative, that he would stay until the end of the year and they comply fully.
"In the case of Liverpool, their chief executive contacted me directly.
"I replied to him, ‘My friend, I don’t sell players now and I don’t deliver now.'

"If you want to buy now to take in January we can start talking, or if you want to wait until December, we talk in December."
Fluminense have been desperate to keep Andre due the club's progression in the South American Champions League, named the Copa Libertadores.
They are into the semi-finals and the 22-year-old midfielder is one of the team's most important players.
The prospect earned his first cap for Brazil in June, coming off the bench in a friendly versus Senegal.
