Kate Beckinsale dresses up dog in Paddington costume
Kate Beckinsale sent fans into meltdown yesterday as she shared some sweet snaps of her pomeranian Myf dressed as Britain’s favourite bear. The Hollywood star took to Instagram to shared pictures of her adorable pooch dressed up as author Michael Bond’s character Paddington Bear.
The 50-year-old Pearl Harbor actress told her 5.6 million followers: “Get your little drops of joy where you can. Here’s mine,” she added with a love heart emoji.
The beloved dog was dressed in Paddington’s signature blue duffle coat and red, wide-brimmed hat. He also had a little note attached to him that read: “Please look after this bear. Thank you.”
Another picture showed Myf with a sandwich in his mouth, which was presumably smothered in marmalade – a treat that the children’s character is known for loving. Paddington Bear, who hails from “darkest Peru”, has more recently been the lead character in two eponymous smash hit films released in 2014 and 2017.
This is not the first time Kate has recreated famous movie moments with her dog. Last year she delighted fans by recreating the iconic spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp with her pomeranian pup.
