Queen Camilla stepped out at the Field of Remembrance & chatted with Lizzie Cundy

The Queen Consort stepped out today in London, ahead of Remembrance weekend. Camilla visited the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey and she, like, viewed some of the poppy installations. For this appearance, Camilla repeated some looks – the green coatdress is by Fiona Clare, who basically customizes dresses and coats for Camilla. Camilla added a cape by Amanda Wakeley which is not doing much. I guess her style people thought the cape would bring the whole outfit together with the black boots and black hat, but it’s giving Mad Hatter. I also wondered why Camilla wouldn’t just wear all-black for Remembrance, but apparently she chose green on purpose to represent her military patronage as the Colonel-in-Chief of the Rifles Regiment (and their color is this dark hunter green).

Meanwhile, Camilla briefly spoke to Lizzie Cundy at this event. The only reason I know the name “Lizzie Cundy” is because she claims to be a “former friend” of the Duchess of Sussex (she is not) and Cundy has used that claim to make all kinds of ridiculous statements about Meghan and Harry. Yet another Camilla connection, just like Cam’s friendships with Jeremy Clarkson, Piers Morgan and half of the tabloid media. It really is shocking to think back to just how many smears and attacks lead back to Camilla.
