A CURVY woman has fallen victim to the allure of the Kardashian brands.
She used to pride herself on avoiding them altogether, despite the online fervor that surrounded them.
But she has finally caved in for the viral Skims dress and she is so glad she did.
Esther Burden (@esther.burden), who has 190,000 followers, appeared chastened when she admitted what she had done.
In her post, she said: “I used to pride myself in the fact that I have never purchased from any of the Kardashian brands."
As she continued, her voice lowered in volume, almost to a whisper.
“But that just changed today because I bought the Skims dress."
The item in question, the lounge dress, $78, has received stratospheric popularity online.
It would be hard to miss how much of a hit this number has been.
Her resistance to the charms of the K brand has ended.

“And it’s actually really nice. It's so comfy. It's gorgeous," she said of the dress.
There was some relief that it was a success too, she said.
“I needed it to be a slay because of my hypocrisy.”
One commenter said she looked fabulous: “Absolutely breathtaking.”
Another admitted she was now tempted: “I am influenced.”
One person said they felt the same about Skims: “Same. Haven’t fallen victim yet, but have been tempted so many times.”
This fan, however, had: “I fell victim to Skims and cannot go back.”
