PEOPLE have been left stunned after discovering what Petit Filous is actually made from.

Babies and children all over the country love the chilled desserts – with the little pots making the perfect after-dinner treat.


But did you know that they're not actually made from yoghurt?

They're actually "fromage frais", which translates as "fresh cheese"

Mally took to TikTok to express his shock at his discovery.

"To a lot of you that's not going to mean anything, but it means a lot to me," he began his video, in the background of which was the explanation of what Petit Filous is.

"Maybe I've just been living under a rock?" he captioned the video.

And in the comments section, he quickly realised that he wasn't the only one to have been baffled by the revelation.

"I thought fromage frais just meant like yoghurt for kid," one wrote.

"Knowing it’s cheese completely puts me off," another added.

"Whattt i thought it was yogurt?!" a third commented.

"CHEESE? YOU LOT WERE SAVOURING LIQUID CHEESE?!" someone else marvelled.

"I speak French and I still didn’t even know that," another wrote.

"I thought 'fromage frais' was yoghurt in French," another laughed.

But others insisted that they've known for ages.
