Robert De Niro, 80, has been on trial in New York following allegations made by his former personal assistant, Graham Chase Robinson, who accused the Hollywood actor of gender discrimination.
The star has now admitted to raising his voice at Graham while calling her names, and according to the Associated Press, Robert even raised his voice in court.
Robert became flustered and irate as he took to the stand to combat allegations he subjected Chase to years of abusive language, unwanted physical advances, and misogyny.
The outlet reported he shouted in court: “Shame on you!”
Graham’s attorney Andrew Macurdy asked Robert whether it was true that he sometimes urinated as he spoke with his former assistant on the telephone.

Robert angrily responded: “Give me a break with this nonsense. You got us all here for this.”
He also denied he was verbally abusive to Graham and angrily rebuked her allegation that he told her he preferred that she scratch his back rather than using a back-scratching device.
Robert did claim it may have happened once or twice but it was “never with disrespect of lewdness”.
He also raised his voice several times throughout his testimony, including one instance in which he called his former assistant out after he was accused of not paying her fairly compared to another male employee.

Finally, he angrily looked toward Graham and shouted: “Every little thing she’s trying to get me on is nonsense!
“Shame on you, Chase Robinson!”
Regretting his actions, he quickly apologized in a quieter voice, as he glanced toward Judge Lewis J Liman.
The Oscar winner’s legal battle with Graham began in August 2019 when his production company, Canal Productions, sued her for millions after she allegedly misused funds for personal expenses.
The company accused her of spending tens of thousands of dollars on the company’s American Express card and approving fake business trips that she used to pay for her social life.
Graham was also accused of personally using about $125,000 worth of frequent flyer miles, charging $32,000 worth of personal Uber and taxi rides, $8,923 in groceries, and $3,000 at a New York City florist, which included a $1,311 arrangement for her birthday.
She then handed Canal Productions a $12 million lawsuit in return for workplace and sexual harassment, plus sexism.
Graham began working at the company in 2008 and acted as the Vice President of Production and finance before she abruptly left the company in April 2019.
